StitchCraft!

Today we took a trip to downtown Vancouver. We went to the Farmer's Market and then to Stitch Craft, one of our local yarn shops. I forgot to take pics (sigh), mainly because I was enamored with this shop. Darling.

I bought 2 skeins of Claudia Hand Painted to make my first lace project, for my great aunt Toot, who taught me to knit. LOVE her.
Here is the yarn:

Very not-reenie colors, but they are pretty.

The chosen pattern? Ferns and Lace by Arlene's World of Lace.

Off to wind them into balls.... and eat some strawberry shortcake- :)

That yarn looks very pretty. I've got 2 skeins to ball too, not sure the boys know what I've volunteered them for
