Many of my friends do not see that i have my tongue pierced. I have had it for over 15 years but not speak funny or anything. It takes some friends years before they really notice it, usually if i start laughing really hard, mouth wide open! Then friends usually learn about the numerous tat's they cannot see as well.
I named my daughter for the female lead in my favorite TV show. Luckily, one of my Aunts has the same name, so I tell people she's named for my Aunt, but really it's for the character.
I could take my left leg, bend it backwards and hook it on my hip. It made me look like I had only one leg. My friends were quite impressed.

I once went to a Queen concert with one friend when I knew another friend of mine wanted to go. I never admitted going without her. I always felt guilty about that.
I buy knitting books and yarn, and sneak them into the house so my husband doesn't find out. I've gotten pretty good at hiding things!!
I would really like to own a white skunk.
I don't think anyone knows how much yarn I actually have....
I have not cleaned my bathroom in more than 10 years. My DH and son take care of that. Also, DH is convinced I just can't load that dishwasher as well as he can. :)
I am scared of roaches. They make me scream.

When I was a child I had several people that read books to me (fairy tales) and they all started off with Once Upon a Time, so I thought all stories started off with Once a pony time

I have yarn stored in the freezer in freezer bags marked "cookies"
In the 80’s I crocheted a black and white piano keys scarf for Paul McCartney. I mailed it to his office in London. A while later a friend of mine went to a Beatles convention in Liverpool and saw my scarf for sale at the memorabilia table, for some good cause. He knew it was my scarf, because I put my initials on it.
I was crushed. I wrote a letter to his office and said that they should tell people that the get so many gifts they have to give some away.
In 1989, I had the great fortune to meet Paul and his wife, Linda in Los Angeles before his concert. I was able to hand them some gifts. A lapel pin of a LOVE postage stamp for Paul, and I gave Linda a fridge magnet that was a little plastic camera, you pushed the shutter and it had pictures of San Francisco. After all, what do you give a multi-millionaire?!? They sought me out later and thanked me. All was forgiven, but no more gifts. When people say “and time stood still”, now I know what they mean.
Once I pretended to be a Russian diplomat's daughter to get tickets to a sporting event. I even brought along 2 "bodyguards!"

my mom told me to take typing instead of Choir in high school so I would have a skill - I was terrible in typing and barely passed with a D for my final grade
