Amazing!!! I think that's why this blogging community is so important-- we recognize the artist in all of us and encourage that, all the while understanding that those of us who are mothers have a wonderful job doing that too. I am surprised that more people can't recall Georgia O'Keefe or Helen Frankenthaler. I taught my students all about women artist, past and present, in the public schools. My favorite artist while I was studying drawing in college was Kathe Kollwitz. I was just in San Francisco and a large gallery there was promoting a new woman artist whose work I fell in love with: Elena Zolotnisky. I will definitely be watching for this movie!!! Thanks for the info!
